What's new in Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt’s BLUE has firsts to its credit for its underwater has been a theme that is touched by the world o's BLUE

Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt’s BLUE has firsts to its credit for its underwater has been a theme that is touched by the world of Hollywood on a regular basis

the Indian cinema has turned to it after a long- long time with BLUE. BLUE is the first full length feature film where the underwater forms an interesting backdrop for development of plot of the film.
Incidentally BLUE has other firsts to its credit, including a female star in the form of Lara Dutta also vying shoulders with her male peers underwater. Besides, BLUE is also the first film whose music has also been released on pen drives and micro scan discs, keeping in tune with the current penchant of the audience to listen to music through these days.

Also another first for BLUE is that its advance booking has been opened more than 10 days before the film is to be released and it would be interesting to observe whether this initiative ensures full house for a longer period.
While the fascinating frontiers of It indeed is one of the intriguing phenomenons of the Indian cinema that though India is blessed with one of the most beautiful and enchanting geographical expanses, they seldom are used as a theme to build up a story.

Keira Knightley to Make West End Debut in The Misanthrope

Keira Knightley is set to move from the big screen to the boards of London’s West End — she has landed a role in a play!

The British actress has bagged the lead role in a modern version of Moliere’s 17th century comedy The Misanthrope.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 24, will play a vacuous Hollywood film star who seduces a disillusioned playwright.

She will star alongside British actors Damian Lewis and Tara Fitzgerald.

The production — which will run at the British capital’s Comedy Theatre from December 17 until March 13 — will be directed by Thea Sharrock whose credits include the West production of Equus, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths.

“It’s not a whim on her part. She’s absolutely ready to come into this vulnerable position,” Sharrock said of Knightley.

“I’m interested in working with her, to push her in a way that I don’t think she has been pushed before because although she has worked with amazing directors, film doesn’t work like that.”

Knightley is said to be “terrified but excited” about the play and has been taking voice and singing lessons to prepare for the role.

On a Date with Anushka Sharma!

I can bet my money on this: If she is fatigued in an interview, she will never betray it and if an eager, insistent clot of journos are pushed towards her, she'll somehow manage to greet each well-wisher with a fractional recalibration of body language that suggests a wordless surge of elated surprise on her part: "Oh, it's you! You're the one". To achieve this effect, Anushka must appear, at every minute, to be not only the most interesting person in the room but also the most interested. She knows it isn't easy, but does it well even at a tender age of 21 and just one film old. People walk away feeling glowy, sated and privileged. I was one of them when I recall the first time meeting her.

I always knew at the back of my head that she will be a good company on a hot Saturday afternoon. I get a call from her publicist. We are supposed to meet at the JW Marriott around 3.30pm. I enter the hotel lobby, then call her publicist who takes me to her room.

But before we are about to enter Anushka's room, I clarify, "Are you sure she isn't tired after filming?" To my surprise, the publicist answers, "She's been waiting for your arrival since long. She is excited". "Am I late?" I quiz. "No. Just in time", came the answer. The door opens and there she was standing beside the huge glass window staring down the beach from her hotel room. The room brightens up with her smile, she offers on my arrival and even though she has been working since 7 in the morning, she still looks full of life, and that's evident from what she is wearing - a pink tube top going well with her blue rugged jeans. Pink, because it resembles her illustrious smile. I greet her and gift her. "What's this?" she questions. "A surprise gift to a surprisingly beautiful date", I reply. Like all my previous dates, she too tears the gift wrap apart and appreciates the brownish coloured sea shells which she unwraps from a separate pack and places very carefully on the triangle shaped candle stand. She adds, "This will go somewhere special in my new house which I've just bought". The last thing you want as a journalist is a drive-through 'date' interview that tends to give an actress the distant cordiality of a flight stewardess, smiling but with the defences firmly in place. Not Anushka, though. She's warm and frank and happy to talk with her big smile going places. She is ambitious and cheerful, capable of glamour but also expressive of a kind of a jolting common sense. She has a strong professional ethic, which she somehow balances with her domestic life. Within minutes....the chieftain takes over and I listen.

Colin Farrell’s Girlfriend Pressure to Marry Soon in this Winter

Irish actor Colin Farrell is in pressure. Colin Farrell's girlfriend Alicja Bachleda is in fact making him to propose to her and get married soon in this winter. Alicja Bachleda is expecting her first child with the Irish actor and wants to marry him before the baby is born due to her family's strong religious beliefs.

Alicja Bachleda, 26, and Irish hunk Farrell, 33, met on the set of their Neil Jordan-directed movie “Ondine” back in January, and the two started a relationship.

"Alicja's parents in Poland met Colin and liked him a lot. But they are Catholic and very old fashioned. They are putting pressure on Colin to make her an honest woman as soon as possible," source close to them quoted.

Alicja Bachleda’s child will be Colin's second child. Farrell has a 6-year-old son from a previous relationship with model Kim Bordenave.

Kim Kardashian in sexy Water Goddess shoot

Kim Kardashian, 28, could be seen covered in sparkling silver clothes, as she stood in the water and later posed on the beach. American socialite Kim Kardashian’s these photographs is named as Water Goddess.

Robert Pattinson and Rupert Grint are the most talked competitors

Robert Pattinson and Rupert Grint are in a cold war. They both are running for the role of Prince Harry.

Peter Kosminsky is directing a film based on the life of Prince Harry and titled The Spare. Peter Kosminsky quoted “I think it's reasonable that we don't want to rule out Americans, although there's a very strong cadre of British actors, too.” He said about the story, “I feel a sense of compassion for the guy. His parents break up in the most spectacularly public way, his mother dies in the most tragic and, again, public way and everything is picked over."

It is rumours that Rupert Grint and Robert Pattinson are amongst the leading competitors to play Prince Harry though the makers of the film have not finalised the cast.

This movie is about the high and low points of the Prince’s life, including the death of his mother, the Princess of Wales, and his time serving in Afghanistan. David Aukin and Hal Vogel are going to produce it.

Katrina Kaif is more happy with Ranbir Kapoor.

Though Katrina Kaif has worked with the biggies of Bollywood, she is pretty cool and doesn't get carried away by it. In all her earlier assignments, she has mostly worked with the seasoned artistes, but now in Rajkumar Santoshi's forthcoming comedy AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI Katrina Kaif, for the first time, will be seen sharing screen space with the actor of her age - Ranbir Kapoor.

It seems that Katrina Kaif is more happy to have worked with Ranbir Kapoor and also finds it bit relaxing. Smiles and says the pretty damsel, ''Till date whenever I reported on the sets of any of my films, I was accustomed to saying good morning sir! Thank God! While working in AJAB PREM I never had to do anything like that. Jokes apart, when you work with the people of same age-group, you automatically get comfortable. Ranbir Kapoor is a chilled out guy, never takes himself seriously and doesn't have any ego problems. So it was very easy and natural to get along with him.''

Director Rajkumar Santoshi is quite secretive, rather diplomatic about his actors' real and reel relationship. He lately Director Rajkumar Santoshi proved it when asked about the on and off screen chemistry of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif . Santoshi added, ''Well, I can't really go about revealing much about their chemistry, both on and off-screen when they are around. However, if this question is put to me in isolation, I have no qualms to answer the same.''

'Saturday Night Live': Lady Gaga, Madonna, the s-bomb drop, Letterman jokes, and a little funniness

Ryan Reynolds may have been the host of Saturday Night Live last night, but music guest Lady Gaga provided the most notable, if not the most entertaining, moments. Carrying on what is now a mini-tradition, Lady Gaga said a four-letter word (”Dancing to that s— on the radio”) during her first song. She also appeared in one of Kenan Thompson’s periodic house-music sketches. Gaga and surprise-guest Madonna conducted a little cat-fight that had less to do with humor than with Madonna literally trying to fend off the latest usurper to her dance-music-queen status:

Other celeb sightings: Scarlett Johansson during a fake-commercial for “porcelain fountains,” and Elijah Wood in an Andy Samberg Digital Short, a hiphop parody that was arguably the funniest thing of the night.

Gaga and surprise-guest Madonna conducted a little cat-fight that had less to do with humor than with Madonna literally trying to fend off the latest usurper to her dance-music-queen .

Other celeb sightings: Scarlett Johansson during a fake-commercial for “porcelain fountains,” and Elijah Wood in an Andy Samberg Digital Short, a hiphop parody that was arguably the funniest thing of the night:

Yes, SNL did acknowledge the David Letterman scandal via two jokes by Seth Meyers on “Weekend Update” — the 48 Hours producer attempted a Stupid Human Trick, he said, and after sex, Letterman says “Stay tuned for Craig Ferguson.” Ha. Ha.

At this point in its history, SNL is more about itself than about the comedy. New cast member Jenny Slate was present, with no harm done after her accidental expletive last week. Darrell Hammond’s appearance as Arnold Schwarzenegger during “Update” was a good performance, but more notable for the fact that Hammond, who no longer appears in the opening credits of the show, turned up at all. New regular Nasim Pedrad was amusing as the wife of Fred Armisen’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The most elaborately produced sketch was “So You Committed A Crime And You Think You Can Dance,” which contained some taped elements. The only time I laughed, though, was upon seeing Bill Hader’s silent Phil Spector as a judge.

Bonus points to a well-thought-out PBS parody in which supposed actors from Oslo (including Reynolds, Armisen, and Kristen Wiig) performed, excellently, a cop drama with accents that invoked yet surpassed old “Wild and Crazy Guy” sketches. Points detracted for the Family Feud sketch about John and Mackenzie Phillips whose only laughs came from Jason Sudeikis’ slick host.

But it all came back to Lady Gaga: Her second song featured her wearing what looked like part of a big Slinky. For her, the spectacle is more important than the music (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Still: The biggest suspense of the night turned out to be whether she could sit at the piano wearing her getup, and the awkward moment when she had to take off her sunglasses in order to continue (”Hello, SNL,” she vamped weakly).

Even the final comic moment was reserved for Gaga — dressed in her bubble-suit, she, not Reynolds, got to have a precious few moments of screen-time shared with exec producer Lorne Michaels. Like I said, SNL is all about the inside-maneuvering of SNL than it is about comedy so far this season.

What did you think?

Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears are rocking the music scene these days. We keep hearing every day tid-bits of Adam Lambert's new album that is going to hit the stores on November 24th of this year. The album is untitled as of yet. Adam Lambert has been hugely popular since his "American Idol" days. Adam has been using his twitter account to connect with his fans and drop new information on his album. As each new picture is released from her tour shows there seems to be another birth of a new controversy. Miley Cyrus have been a revelation throughout the tour though. Jackson's children 'doing well'

,Michael Jackson's children are "doing wonderfully with their grandmother guardian", a judge has said.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff was "very pleased" with a probate investigator's report on how the three children are adjusting.

The judge also increased the powers of two men administering the singer's estate, partly due to substantial debt.

The pop legend died aged 50 in June. His death was ruled to be homicide caused by a powerful anaesthetic.

His children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II (known as Blanket), 7, have been in the care of Katherine Jackson since their father's death.

Jackson's estate is paying a stipend of $60,000 (£37,600) per month to care for and protect the youngsters.

guardian in August, and he had asked for an update on their conditions.

In his 2002 will, Michael Jackson designated his mother as his choice to care for his children if he died.

The judge sealed the report on the children and said he saw no need to get future updates.

However he gave lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain general powers over Jackson's estate.

This will allow them to consider creditors' claims and enter into business deals that are not opposed by his mother, without judge Beckloff's approval.

Until Friday, no-one could accept or reject creditors' claims against Jackson, who died with an estimated $400m (£251m) of debts.

Mr Branca and Mr McClain can also begin to represent the estate in several court cases which were pending against the singer when he died.

The judge made the ruling despite the objections of Mrs Jackson's lawyer.

There have been several claims of unpaid bills filed against Jackson's estate, including from his criminal defence lawyers who won his acquittal against child molestation charges in 2005.

Jackson's father Joe attended the court hearing on Friday but did not comment

Latin artist Mercedes Sosa dies

Argentine folk singer and activist Mercedes Sosa has died aged 74 after suffering kidney problems.

Sosa's popularity in Latin America spanned four decades, but she fell foul of the Argentine junta in the 1970s.

Her latest album has been nominated for three Latin Grammy awards, which are due to be announced in November.

Dubbed "the voice of the silent majority", Sosa was credited with championing the poor and fighting for political change.

Along with her first husband, Manuel Oscar Matus, she became a founding member of the mid-60s Nueva Cancion movement.

At a 1979 concert in the Argentine city of La Plata, Sosa was searched and arrested on stage along with all those attending the concert.

She was subsequently banned from recording, and left the country to live in Paris and Madrid. She returned to her homeland in 1982 just before the collapse of military rule.

A Unicef goodwill ambassador, Sosa produced 40 albums over her long career and collaborated with musicians including Luciano Pavarotti, Sting, Shakira and Joan Baez.

For Sherri Shepherd, 'Sherri' is reality television

By Donna Freydkin, USA TODAY
NEW YORK — She has gone down eight dress sizes.

But Sherri Shepherd is feeling twice as big today. Her autobiographical sitcom, Sherri, premieres on Lifetime (tonight at 7 ET/PT), the same day as her advice book, Permission Slips: Every Woman's Guide to Giving Herself a Break, hits bookstores. Next week, the Lifetime show moves to its regular slot (Tuesday 10 p.m. ET/PT).

"It's so in sync," Shepherd, 42, says of her dual debuts. "I've dreamed about this for 20 years, so it doesn't feel like work."

In fact, Shepherd spends much of her day running from her morning gig as co-host of ABC's gab-fest The Viewto her second job as the star of her new series. Fortunately for the single mom of Jeffrey, 4, the role isn't a stretch.

"This character is based on me and my stand-up. I look at it like I had lemons dumped in my lap and managed to make lemonade for everybody," Shepherd says. "There was infidelity in my marriage. The other woman got pregnant. I had to deal with it."

The pilot "is pretty much verbatim what I went through: me confronting the girl and her saying to me, 'I'm just a big fan of yours,' " says Shepherd, who thanked her for the compliment. "My thought process was, 'You don't want to lose fans, even if they're the other woman.' "

Her book also deals with her family — Shepherd and the other woman are in contact, and their sons are close — as well as her tendency to say embarrassing things on The View. She has said she doesn't vote and doesn't believe in evolution.

"The book kind of parallels the show. It came about when I said I didn't know if the Earth was round (on The View)," she says. "It was my second or third day there, and I was so nervous. I'm not used to debating. I don't like to argue. This was so out of my comfort zone, and I just zoned out. That will follow me to the day I die. When you look me up, it's all about how I didn't know if the Earth was round or flat."

So her book emphasizes that "we just have to give ourselves permission to say it's OK. ... We have to stop beating ourselves up. As women, we try to be perfect."

To keep her energy up, Shepherd gets up at 6 a.m. every day and works out with her trainer four times a week. She hates exercise, she says, but does it anyway so she "can run around and play with my boy," she says.

She has breakfast with her son, preps for The View, and after shooting it heads to her Penn Station studio to shoot Sherri. Yes, she's busy, but should Tina Fey call, Shepherd says she'll show up to play her recurring role on NBC's 30 Rock as Tracy Morgan's disgruntled wife.

"I will make time. Are you kidding? Tina takes Tracy's life and writes that. She takes every nuance of Tracy and puts it on the page," says Shepherd, who knows from experience just how nutty Morgan's existence can be.

"I used to live eight floors below him, and when his place flooded, it flooded my place and they evacuated me. Now he's moved. They put us in another apartment for two weeks. ... I haven't seen Tracy. He owes me dinner."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck backon 'The View' Oct. 19

Elisabeth Hasselbeck back

NEW YORK (AP) — ABC says Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be back on "The View" on Oct. 19.

Hasselbeck has been off the daytime talk show since Aug. 7 — two days before she gave birth to her third child, Isaiah Timothy. She's married to former NFL player Tim Hasselbeck.

Since then, her only contact with viewers was last Thursday, when she phoned The View to chat on-air with fellow hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar (BAY'-hahr) and Sherri Shepherd.

During Hasselbeck's maternity leave, numerous guests have filled in. Upcoming subs include "The Hills" star Heidi Montag, former View co-host Lisa Ling, "Ugly Betty" star Ana Ortiz, newly married TV reality star Khloe Kardashian and Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco.

Beckinsale named sexiest woman alive

British actress Kate Beckinsale has been named Esquire magazine's Sexiest Woman Alive.

"This whole notion of being named Sexiest Woman Alive is going to earn me quite a beating. You can't have that title with four brothers. I'll get wedgies. Headlocks. Noogies (knuckles to the head)... I'm feeling that I must earn this - I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something," she said.

Gwen Stefani Is How Old? Rossdale, Beckinsale Help Mark Milestone

Gwen Stefani celebrated the advent of her fourth decade with friends and family at an intimate Saturday afternoon gathering at Cecconi's in West Hollywood.

The ab-flaunting singer donned her signature red lipstick as she dined inside the Italian restaurant with hubby Gavin Rossdale, sons Zuma and Kingston, BFF to the stars Kate Beckinsale and the actress's husband, director Len Wiseman.

"There wasn't much gift-giving, but they did bring in a large bouquet of red roses, and as they were leaving, they stuffed some Mylar balloons in the backseat," an eyewitness told E!

"They are such a class act. They were so gracious with all of the photographers, and Gavin was even joking around, waving and taking pictures on his iPhone as they left," says the source. "I think they chose to have the party in the afternoon because the kids were there."

In spite of the party time, one partygoer was too tired for additional festivities. Little Zuma was spotted snoozing in his car seat next to the birthday girl as the family rode away in their black Range Rover.

Emma Watson 'shaken' by Harvard stalking......

Emma Watson 'shaken' by Harvard stalking; Padma Lakshmi pregnant with first child; Autopsy: Michael Jackson was 'healthy'

Harry Potter star Emma Watson appeared "quite shaken" after students from rival university Harvard stalked her during a recent football match, according to New York gossip column PageSix.

The actress, who attends Brown University, in Rhode Island, was at a game between the two schools on Saturday, but security guards had to surround her to protect her from harassment.

Harvard's student magazine The Voice targeted Watson and posted a blog on its Web site stating supporters would try to draw as much attention to her as possible.

The post reads, "We will be Live-Tweetin' the game and possibly stalking Emma Watson, so keep your eyes peeled for that, too!"

During the match, students from the Harvard Voice wrote a series of posts on Twitter.com, including: "In enemy territory. Lookin for a certain witch," and, "WATSON FOUND. I repeat WATSON FOUND."

The magazine also posted a photo of the star and branded the stalking campaign a "success," PageSix reports.

But after a series of complaints, the editor of The Voice attached a note to the picture saying, "There seems to be much ado about nothing over this photo and liveblog. Understand that these live tweets were made to be intentionally outrageous and overblown."

There was no comment from Watson's representative as WENN went to press. A spokesperson from Brown said, "This isn't the sort of thing we comment on."

Kamini Says: Lady Gaga and Kanye West on Drama Tour

Kanye West and Lady Gaga are set to join forces on their "Fame Kills" tour. These two are so high drama, we can't know what to expect. I'm sure this is the image want to convey to fans as excess is a draw in both their careers. Gaga and West push boundaries more than anyone else on the scene right now. Their promo for the tour is no exception. The pulp image of a naked Gagita and Kanye's hand reaching around her torso plays on so many taboos that it borders cliché.

When you are a celebrity who seeks fame through media ploys and extravagant designs, how can you also complain that it kills you? And then ask for more! Of course it's more complex than that and how can the rest of the world possibly understand the trials of fame, blah blah blah. Please.

West will use any concept and opportunity to get attention. He's like that nervous adolescent boy who won't stop teasing until you notice him. Lady Gaga is not an opening act, but was asked to tour alongside Kanye. I think he sought her out to bring some originality to his player ways. While Kanye was once bold, he has become predictable lately. His recent publicity stunt saying that he'll take time to "reflect on his life" is probably equal to the time he takes to come up with the next ploy to get under the spotlight.

This is the Drama Tour if ever I saw one.

Gagita can hold her own next to Kanye. I'm not worried about that, but she's gonna need a plan for all the last minute stunts he'll be planning to get in on her end of the show. When the "Fame Kills" tour ends, Gaga is going to need some time to reflect of her own.

Elizabeth Smart: Captor 'used religion'

SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Elizabeth Smart, testifying Thursday at a hearing in Salt Lake City for the man accused of abducting her in 2002, said he "used religion to get what he wanted."

Smart, 21, described for U.S. District Judge Dale Kimball how Brian David Mitchell took her at knifepoint from her home when she was 14, The Salt Lake Tribune reported. Smart said Mitchell forced her to hike to his home, where his wife, Wanda Eileen Barzee, forced her to change from her pajamas into a robe and Mitchell performed a marriage ritual, the newspaper said.

"After that, he proceeded to rape me," Smart testified during the hearing to determine Mitchell's competency to stand trial.

Mitchell has been diagnosed with a delusional disorder.

Smart said Mitchell raped her three to four times a day for the nine months she was held captive and claimed he was a prophet of God.

"He used religion to get what he wanted," she testified. "He had an excuse for everything he did with a religious side to it."

U.S. District Attorney Brett Tolman said Smart's testimony established that Mitchell was primarily interested in getting away with criminal acts, the newspaper said. Defense attorney Robert Steele said some of Smart's testimony supported the suggestion that Mitchell is delusional.

Smart said Mitchell made her use alcohol and drugs and exposed her to pornography.

"Anything I showed resistance or hesitation to, he would turn to me and say, 'The Lord has commanded you to do this, you have to experience the lowest form of humanity to experience the highest,'" she testified.

The next hearing on Mitchell's competency is scheduled for Nov. 30.

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was healthy before death

Michael Jackson was in good health until he was injected with a lethal cocktail of drugs hours before he died.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's autopsy report has revealed the singer - who died of acute Propofol intoxication on June 25 - was not suffering from any serious physical problems at the time of his death.

Apart from slightly inflamed lungs and minor arthritis, he was in a "good condition", with a healthy heart and kidneys and "weight average for his height".

His sexual organs were also functioning normally, with the report noting Michael was still producing sperm when he died.

The findings are likely to put pressure on Michael's personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray - who allegedly injected him with the powerful anaesthetic that killed him - as it proves the singer had no underlying health conditions that might have contributed to his death.

The post mortem also revealed bizarre details about Michael's body, including a tattoo on his scalp that stretched from ear to ear in a bid to hide his receding hairline and baldness.

His remaining hair was "tightly curled" and cut short so it could be hidden under his long, flowing wigs.

His lips had been tattooed pink and his eyebrows blackened with more ink.

The coroner's report also suggests Michael was not lying about suffering from vitiligo - a rare skin pigmentation disease he blamed for his transformation from black to white - with the physician noting that he had patches of black skin on his legs and elsewhere on his body.

Injuries inflicted by frantic attempts to revive the star were also visible on his body, including cracked ribs and extensive bruising.

Michael's death was ruled a homicide last month.

Jennifer Garner's no nude

Jennifer Garner says "the world deserves better" than to see her naked.

The 'Invention of Lying' actress has vowed never to bare all for a movie role because she doesn't believe anyone would want to see it.

She said: "I will not be taking it all off! Zero percent. No, thank you. The world deserves better. Not interested."

The actress' co-star in the movie, British funnyman Ricky Gervais, agreed with her view - unless he can draft in a stunt double.

He told MTV: "OK, well then, it's equal. It's joint equal at, 'No way! Absolutely no way!'

"There's no chance of me doing it. Unless I had a stunt one."

One person Ricky wouldn't have as his body double is Jennifer's 'Ghost of Girlfriends Past' co-star Matthew McConaughey, who is famed for his toned physique.

Ricky said: "Different sort of bodies though, aren't they?. He shaves his chest, doesn't he?"

Jennifer Garner: ‘I Won’t go Nude’

Jennifer Garner has sworn off ever doing a nude scene.

The actress — who stars opposite British comedian Ricky Gervais in new movie The Invention of Lying — says there’s “zero chance” she’ll be getting her kit off in front of the cameras.

“I will not be taking it all off! Zero percent,” she insisted. “No, thank you. The world deserves better. Not interested.”

Garner — who is married to actor Ben Affleck — recently admitted she often tells lies.

“I would not even attempt to go one day without lying,” she said. “What if someone asks you how you are and you have to stop and tell them how you are really feeling? You would never get through the day. No, I have to lie. I think we all do.”

Jennifer Aniston Leads 'An Interesting Life,' Says Costar
Aaron Eckhart calls the actress "easygoing" while filming Love Happens Source:
People.comThursday, Sep 17, 2009

Expecting diva-like antics from Jennifer Aniston? No way, says her co-star in the upcoming Love Happens.

"She was very easygoing, very effortless," Aaron Eckhart, 41, said at the movie's premiere in Westwood, Calif., Tuesday. "I think that's the word I want to use: effortless."

He explains, "She keeps good people around her. She's interested. She asks questions. She gets outside of herself and lives, I would say at the very least, an interesting life. It's not really always her own. She deals with it very well."

In between photo ops with Eckhart, Aniston, 40, attended Tuesday's premiere solo, smiling, taking pictures with fans, signing autographs and talking to press - though she kept her chatter brief.

"Love - that's what I love about love," Aniston told reporters. "That's it."

She described Love Happens, her romantic drama-comedy with Eckhart, as "a really good experience. Moving. See it. You'll see why."

Co-star John Carroll Lynch said, "I love that she suffers in this fishbowl of life, and I find her intriguing. I find it extraordinary."

Poor Jennifer Aniston. She’s heartbroken again, and it was a dirty breakup this time. Her boyfriend—a rock musician—cheats on her, and she discovers it by picking up a lipstick-stained wine glass. It’s a fictional breakup, of course—at the beginning of her new movie, Love Happens—but her twisted face and emotional stuttering are straight out of real life, where we're used to seeing Aniston on the receiving end of a guy's bad behavior. While most heroines from romantic comedies are perpetually down in the dumps (see: Sandra Bullock, Rachel McAdams, or even Julia Roberts), Aniston is playing her own version of cinéma vérité: it’s impossible to tell whether her character’s pain is any different from her own. Watching her like this feels strange, but familiar. We’ve been force-fed so many details of her romantic rumblings that any time a man cheats on her, walks out on her, or refuses to marry her (as Ben Affleck does in He’s Just Not That Into You), we’re reminded of the days when Brad Pitt mattered so much that boutiques were selling T shirts that said TEAM ANISTON and TEAM JOLIE.

That was five years ago, and still, Aniston has remained one of Hollywood’s most polarizing woman. Even when her own husband left her and coincidentally ended up in Angelina Jolie’s arms, many women didn’t come to her defense. Instead, they said: “Good for Brad.” From that debate, the subtext became a sad refrain: why is Jennifer Aniston still single? Now, it’s even sadder, because that’s the narrative the actress pushes in her own films. Like Lauren Conrad, she's become her own reality star, a woman whose life on screen is impossible to separate from real life.

'Jennifer's Body' star Megan Fox admits she's spooked by her 'supernatural' power over men

She has a beautiful face and a stunning figure ... but Megan Fox admits she is frightened by her amazing power over men.

Fox, 23, said she first realized her allure when she was 12.

“I think initially it’s sort of overwhelming because little girls are very much exposed to sexuality through the media and the entertainment industry and advertisements,” she told People magazine.

“So when you realize that you have the same power that you’ve watched women who’ve come before you have, it is frightening and you don’t know what to do with it.”

Guillermo Arriaga's "The Burning Plain" is a slow-simmer sort of film, taking every moment of its nearly two hours to bring its story of two families connected by tragedy to a boil. But it takes just 20 seconds to expose -- literally, expose -- its star, Charlize Theron.

Oh, yes, the gorgeous former model is naked.

But the scene leaves you far more uneasy than aroused. As mysterious loner Sylvia, Theron cuts a harsh, flawed figure in the cold, bluish light of morning. "Get out," she snaps to a man sleeping in her bed.

And she doesn't bother saying goodbye when he leaves.

"When I read the script I thought it was a great opening to the character," Theron says of her stark introduction, which might have caused any other actress to lobby for a rewrite. "You start asking questions immediately as soon as you see it. . . . 'Who is this woman? Who would be that cold to the man that she wakes up with?' "

Playing unlikable characters is nothing new to Theron, who won an Oscar in 2004 for her physically and emotionally unflattering turn as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in "Monster."

Charlize Theron thrown out of America!

Hollywood star Charlize Theron was kicked out of America while filming Devil's Advocate, reoprts contactmusic.com.

The star has revealed she was briefly kicked out of America as her career was taking off - because she was working illegally in Hollywood.

As her work visa expired, Theron was still fighting for roles in Hollywood - and had just landed a role opposite Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves in 2007 film The Devil's Advocate when immigration officials caught up with her.

She explains, "I had to hold out for two years after playing the femme fatale in Two Days In The Valley because people wanted me to play that role. I think there was a conscious effort on my part to hold back and I didn't work for two years and I waited and really fought for roles in The Devil's Advocate and The Yards, Cider House Rules.
